    @julieblanc Ça m'étonne pas que ça marche aussi pour la thèse ! À chaque fois que je me disais "Ah mais les titres courants…", "Ah mais les références croisées…", hop il y avait une solution et bien documentée. C'est un super outil.

    Ça m'a aussi fait découvrir la notion de polyfill, le fait qu'il en existe notamment pour les césures, avec le fameux algo de TeX. Moi qui suis plutôt craintif du JS côté sites web, ça m'a totalement décomplexé pour le contexte #CSSprint.

    @Mindiell C'est ça. Parce que ce qu'il manque, ce n'est pas tant les alternatives -- on a par exemple #WeasyPrint de @courtbouillon, ou @pagedjs de @julieblanc et @julientaq, #Scribus, ou encore @pandoc.

    Ce qui manquait jusqu'à présent, c'est le pont entre ces alternatives et InDesign, parce qu'il y a des personnes qui sont aujourd'hui coincées sur les logiciels d'Adobe. Ça propose une transition vers ces alternatives, ou du moins c'est l'idée.

    J'ai trouvé un cas d'usage pour #pagedjs : export pdf de mon support de présentation fait avec remarkjs
    Vu que remarkjs génère les diapos à partir d'un contenu markdown, #weasyprint (que j'utilise d'habitude) ne peut pas me faire un PDF, car il n'interprète pas le javascript
    Pagedjs se fait dans un moteur de navigateur.
    J'ai dû repasser les diapos en 4:3 mais sinon, rien à signaler, le signal est propre !

    Oh, bien vu ! Effectivement, il n'y a pas de repo dédié (ces exemples n'étaient pas destinés à rester là…). De fait, la dispersion des plugins, hooks et autres astuces #pagedjs est un problème encore irrésolu. @julientaq, @julieblanc et les copaines de @prepostprint sont bien au courant..

    [blog] J'aime bien utiliser toujours le même outil en l'adaptant à différents besoins mais une expérience récente sur LaTeX m'a fait toucher les limites de cette approche. J'ai testé Paged.js et ça m'a fait voir que je devrais sortir plus souvent de ma zone de confort. Retour d'expérience : arthurperret.fr/blog/2023-04-0
