  4. Bringing this lovely ring to the Rain Spark Gallery today in Lake Oswego. I kinda want to keep it. Maybe I'll make one for myself after the holidays. Do you like the darker look of the silver vs. shiny?

  5. Action shot of my blown glass bubble necklace. Reminds me of the sea. Which I want to visit again very soon! When was the last time you were at the sea?

  6. One more post before I go back to the metalsmith studio, an introduction one. I'm a jeweler, forging pieces and melting glass in the Portland area of Oregon. I love sharing art and photos of the world outside! I can be sporadic, but that means adventures, usually, so it's a good thing!

  7. I take my showers at night. I have done this for years. Every night, I get a little bit ridiculously giddy looking forward to it. Luxury! Do you shower at night over morning? These are important things I must know. #important #deepquestions #deep #shower #lifehabits #lifestylechoices

  9. Those of you near Portland Oregon, I am an artist that is in a wonderful pop up gallery this winter! I am bringing this hand-blown necklace to the gallery with me tomorrow during my shift, to add it to my offerings. Rain Spark Gallery is at 180 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR , and is chock full of juried, local art. I'll be there 10-2 tomorrow, come check out some great pieces (and maybe get some Salt and Straw down the block!)

  10. Art! Yay! Art! Yart! I make glass and semi-precious gemstone pieces as my joy and creative outlet in life.

  11. Aside from actually having time off, this week has been wonderful because I've been able to do some things that I'd been meaning to do for a LONG time.

    1) I've removed #Plex from our family server, and replaced it with #Jellyfin. The latter is free, and doesn't track your stuff or require you to sign in to a website, like the former does.

    2) I'm working on removing all of our #PhillipsHue lightbulbs in the house and replacing them with #HomeAssistant friendly #Shelly dimmers/switchers. I've got to work on this one VERY slowly, as it's not going to be cheap, but yesterday, I finished the bedroom setup, with time to spare ;)

    3) I'm now effectively running #JuicePassProxy github.com/snicker/juicepasspr on my network to prevent both of our JuiceBoxes from calling home and running the terrible new version. The bad news? I wasn't quick enough to stop the new EnelX system from picking up the charging stations, and now I can't dynamically adjust charge rate.
