Unfortunately, I did try once and #LibreBoot wouldn't let it boot. I haven't tried it in a couple years, though.

I've heard folks mention it here and there, and I'm totally down for #AllYourBase references :D
I don't really know anything about it (and to be fair, I barely know the most basic basics of C). What's a good way to start with it? Are there some well known projects written in it?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! <3

Fortunately, it's all very linear and (hopefully) pretty easy to understand. I'd like to think that if you stuck a
set -xat the very top, the output would be pretty easy to mentally parse. It's mostly just if statements ;)All Debian-based and most rpm-based distros should work out of the box, in addition to homebrew, flatpak, snap (eww, lol), and even pipx, cargo, and rustup.
Also, the three major #BSDs, of course! ;)

Oh I wouldn't bike on the streets. Not yet. We do have some #bicycle lanes. But i need plenty of practice before i can be brave enough to have my bike as my commute.I'll be taking it to the park or someplace quiet and safe and do my riding there. That's why one of my criteria is foldability. 😁
I gotta buy one first... 🙃

@JonYoder
At first I was thinking I'll get a #bike for Christmas. But after this past weekend's checkup, perhaps I shouldn't wait. I really need to get some exercise. #Cycling is the easiest/safest I can think of for my stress fracture. 🦵 And if i can't get out, then the home setup will be good. We're going back to stricter #CommunityQuarantine days. Again. 🤷♀️

I'd tried several distros before -- Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Puppy watchamacallit...#SliTaz is the snappiest! 👍
Not vital. Just tinkering and trying to give my old #netbook a new life, make it useful. Hoping to get a #browser that will let me use the web versions of #YouTubeMusic, #Spotify, #Skype, #Zoom, etc.
The pre-installed Midori can't do it, unfortunately.

Rich can simply mean having all you need, enough of it, such that you won't suffer* or worry* about how to get through the year, come what may.I wouldn't call myself rich, but I was financially fine when I was jobless for 2 long years. True story. Drove me nuts 😖 but i wasn't in debt or homeless because of my God-given family. 🙏
It's sad that some* get kicked out at age 18. #StayTogether

CW: CW: Bible/Christian stuff, abuse
I left the SBC over a quarter century ago so I can kinda scratch my head at why you stayed for so long, but I'm 100% supportive of your decision, and empathetic to (dear Lord) the crap you must have endured from (*sigh*, forgive me) Zombie Christians.
But I have a very similar story about the #Charismatic churches I struggled to make peace with for the past eight years. After a while, I look back and think, "Why did you mourn for Saul for so long? Why the flip did you ever #gaslight yourself into believing that anything like that could be remotely okay?"
I really need to write a blog post about that.
On the other hand, the church that had some of the most egregious Trump supporters was also the one where I felt the Spirit so strongly in the bond of fellowship.
I have no idea, bud. It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world.
But let's please keep each other encouraged. 5,000 haven't bowed the knee to Baal.

Taking a break from #Mensago. Burnout has set in. Hard.
Yesterday I had *so* much fun solo playtesting my #TTRPG.
It feels strange running the Lost Mine of Phandelver with non-5e rules, but it works, and quite nicely so far. I'm hoping to publish a public playtest version later this year.
After working on something as challenging as Mensago for so long, doing something that flows with so little effort feels like I'm cheating or something. Small victories, right?
