  1. @jmccyoung yes, the second was an article from the Christian Post and a third was an article in The Nation. And after I tooted the first time, it turned up in AlterNet.

    It’s concerning that it’s being used that frequently and outside places where I would expect to see it. I’m not surprised that some people feel their faith and understanding of the Divine is being shaken by encountering different cultures, people, and religious practices. I do worry that the morphing of rhetoric around cultural differences into spiritual conflict represents growing acceptance of the idea of “holy wars” across multiple societies, communities, and faith traditions.

    I’m also afraid that there doesn’t seem to be much being done to counter the escalation in rhetoric. Where are the voices for #Peace ?
