I'm with you on hoping to hear Sabine opine on this.
I've read some more of the stuff in the repo - text and code. It's still just about all over my interested-layman's head. But I want it to be true, or at least true-ish enough to point the way to additional threads to pull on with other researchers.
I really hope that this isn't just a big joke, and the text isn't just LLM jibberish from a model trained on physics papers.

I tend to think of it more like Einstein's relativity. An observer there can be thought of more as just a vantage point. There doesn't need to be a person there to do the looking, but if you happened to stand there, you would see a particular "view" of the universe. From another vantage point, a theoretical observer would "see" a different view of the same events. But what do I know, I'm no physicist.

I was amazed at how terrible and primitive the Apple Voice Technology actually is, considering what Apple is. Here's one clue about how terrible the technology is: I wrote a book in 2023 under the pen name N.J. Edwards. The computer-generated male voice introduced the audiobook this way: "This is an audiobook by author New Jersey Edwards. Granted, New Jersey Edwards is a fantastic pen name. I wish I'd thought of it. But that is not the author's name on the front of my book. The audiobook of my novel BEER POUR is so atrocious that there's actual computer code jibberish spoken in the middle of a dialogue scene. I could go on and on about all the flaws, but there's not enough room here. We also had a wedding newspaper printed called “The JibRish Tribune”, explaining our motives for the #ClimateWedding, profiles of our celebrity cutouts, and most importantly, sharing the work and contact details for our local climate activists who so graciously agreed to be a part of our wedding.
Guests loved it so much, we have had to order a second print for them to keep!

#ClimateChange is a huge topic, even when talking locally, so we decided to focus on the two most immediate threats to the city - #Smog (air pollution) & #Heatwaves.
We shot short videos on these topics & placed their QR codes at the #ClimateWedding for our guests, explaining the issue & what could be done about it.
