There is a #battery subsidy in #Qld of about $4000, but since the average home battery costs a bit over $10k, I don't imagine there are a lot of people taking advantage of it. Also, if one is contemplating getting a #BEV, then you have a battery & car in one device! (You need a car that does #VTG or #VTH of course). There has been quite a bit of analysis done in regard to how much storage is required to achieve 100% renewables electricity. I will aim to dig out some of that analysis & link it ... probably tomorrow :) -

Murdered the passionfruit today. It's had three summers, produced masses of flowers, had lots of bees all over it but no fruit. Will use the bed for bok choi this winter and tomatoes next summer. Maybe give another passion fruit a try next year but only so many summers left in me.
Dig over the bed and put in two bags if chook and cow manure topped up with potting mix to get it level with the top of the raised pot. #gardens #australia

A very late in the season wind surf. Was second on the water but once the message got out there were quite a few turning up.
Got a but too close to one of the anchored yatchs and ended up having to do a loop around the stern to avoid the anchor rope. Where the a in mia is.
Fell in once and the water was cold!

@mythologyandhistory The start of Perth sea breezes. #windsurfing season. No more thick wet suits and regular daily 20knot winds.
