a couple of weeks ago while on zoom I looked out my window to see two red-shouldered #hawks mating. then again a week later. with binoculars i recently found their nest. now i look forward to watch baby hawks grow up this summer!!!!!!!! and meetings are less boring now

In theory, it seems like a noble goal to maximize the scope of one's empathy. How far is feasible? Can a person remain sane and functional if they maximize their empathy for a maximum amount of people and situations? Is this studied in #psychology #anthropolgy #sociology #philosophy #ethics?
