@jacobyaudio Absolutely. Another piece of work is helping customers create global standards for room types, then we build alternates lists. Standards help you track deviations.. they're not the end of the world, but exceptions need to be known. #avintheam

I've been a fan of Syracuse men's basketball since the mid-80's. My older brother went to school there. Still miss the old Big East.
Congrats Coach Boeheim on an incredible career.

Wanna see something fun? Go watch the Aterciopelados Tiny Desk Concert that was posted this week.
If you don't speak Spanish, you can turn on the auto-translation. It's worth it.

I like my apartment except for the times when it feels like there is a breeze coming through it in the winter.
And that's after I've basically sealed up the windows.
Urgh.

Watched "Wicked for Good" for the first time on my home system. Enjoyed it much more than when I had seen it the first time in the theater.
I'm definitely "Team Green".

If you're talking on an online meeting and referencing a location and/or a document, sharing your screen is a good thing.
Don't be afraid.

Could use a hug. Just put down a deposit to reserve a room for my Dad at a senior living facility. It's the right move but he's resisting selling his house.
A house where 3 generations of my family grew up. The only family house I've ever known.
Life goes on but it's still tough.

Someone at work told me they heard a song from "The Specials" that reminded them of their early college years.
My early college memories of ska are "The Toasters" from the mid-90's. They visited my college campus for a concert. I volunteered on the student programming board so I got to meet the band. When they got off the bus, the first question was about where they could play a quick game of pick-up basketball. So, I ended up playing basketball with The Toasters.
Just turned on their album "Hard Band for Dead" and it brought me right back to that time.

Yes, this article is on CNN. That said, it's pretty good and I identify with the author about feeling uncomfortable at Pride events.

I don't know why I need to say this tonight but I'm bi.
Trust me, I would love to be straight or just plain gay. It would make life a whole lot easier.
But, I'm not. I'm bi.

For this 4th of July; I decided to watch a movie about an American pioneer. "Sally" is a documentary about Dr. Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. The documentary is two hours long yet never feels that way.
It should be obvious that her story is something that should be celebrated. It's a shame that her brilliance as an engineer, an astronaut, and a leader gets overshadowed by her gender and sexual preference.
Worth a watch.

I really wish we had four day work weeks in the US.
But that does seem like a minor issue at the moment.

I need a new hat to protect my bald noggin from the sun. I haven't been able to find something I like besides a baseball cap.
Anyone want to recommend one of the online hat shops? It helps if they have hats for larger head sizes (or adjustable).
I've found a few but looking for someone who's actually ordered and received a hat.
