My purchase yesterday at an Antique Fair. Apparently used for marching German infantry when on a road, affixed to a button and a green light (filter looks blue) at the front and a red light at the rear of the platoon. Visited #chirkcastle today. Couldn’t see all of it as some is closed off until March due to conservation work. I alway enjoy a visit here, it’s right on our doorstep.
