I grew up outside religion but I like Christmas. Time off, hanging out eating and drinking with family & friends, exchanging gifts ... celebrate or not how you like, but that's how I do it. As I tell my kids, you don't have to believe in Santa, but if you don't he's not bringing you anything.
Anyway Christmas tunes are a thing, and I dig 'em. This is, I think, a definitive playlist not just of the ideal songs, but the best versions. Ho ho ho.

I had the strangest dream in which I was a novelist, writing a story about an art forger. I had stumbled across an abandoned storefront that I thought would make the perfect setting for my fictional art forger's studio.
On waking, this got me thinking of my long-abandoned art blog. Maybe I should start writing again, I do enjoy a good forgery.

Unless someone specifically says "I'm sorry" it's probably "fuck you", except if someone uses "sorry" as an interjection like "Yeah sorry I was gonna (x)". If you step on someone's foot and they say "sorry" they aren't apologizing. It's short for "Look where ta fuck yer goin buddy before I fuckin dummy ya right here."
