The Spirit Joseph, in The Gospel According to Spiritism, chapter X, item 16, in a message dictated in Bordeaux, 1863, wrote a phrase that helps a lot when the urge to judge arises:
"Indulgence attracts, calms, and uplifts. Harshness, on the other hand, discourages, alienates, and irritates."

There is a message in The Gospel According to Spiritism that is pure tenderness.
In Chapter V, item 20, the Spirit of François-Nicolas-Madeleine, Cardinal Morlot, in a communication dictated in Paris, 1863, reminds us of something simple.
Perfect happiness is a journey. A beautiful destination that the soul will reach in time. And knowing this brings a sense of lightness, because it takes away that pressure of always having to be at our peak. -
