Immich is a freaking treasure! After rebuilding my server I had to fight with Nextcloud, even had to end up recreating a user account and restore things from backup. Immich I just spun the docker up, pointed it at the drive I had Immich on, and it came back like it had never been gone! Which is great because I wasn’t looking forward to 20,000 photos and videos backing up again.

Latest MXLinux update fubar’d my install. Spent most of today trying to get it back to working, but looks like I might have to nuke it from orbit and reinstall. Not overly excited about having to setup Nextcloud and Immich all over again.
Fortunately all data is backed up so nothing is going to be lost - other than a lot of time and sanity.

Well, I got Immich up and running. Had one brief hiccup, but the classic turn it off and turn it back on again did the trick.
My phone transferring all the photos over made it get smoking hot. Used some ice packs to keep it cool and after most of a day all my photos are backed up to Immich!

Added a kiwix server to my local server setup. It took… no time at all really. Probably one of the easiest things I’ve done in forever and it just worked.
Next up is either going to be Kavita or Immich - depends how I’m feeling after I take care of things that need to get done today.
