I'm moving to Tofield this week for work, and I still haven't found a place to rent. It would be a pain to commute from Edmonton or Sherwood, although I have some feelers out there too.
If anyone has any leads, I'd appreciate it. I can afford a hotel for a week or so, but I'd prefer to minimize that.

Reaching out for advice on chronic #insomnia. I've tried behavioral strategies, time-release melatonin, red lights, tightened up my schedule, CBN. Prescription sleep aids are ineffective with bad side effects.
I can usually fall asleep fairly easily, but wake up frequently, and sleep quality is poor. Grasping at straws now. Can't stay functional.
Any new advice would be welcome.

@BelSel The advice I've read about hashtags is to put them in a list at the end of the post rather than writing them inline. A lot of people with visual impairments use screen readers, and it breaks up the flow when the reader says "hashtag-topic hashtag-verb hashtag-something" throughout a paragraph.
Also, screen readers pronounce hashtags more accurately if you capitalize each word in a multi-word tag: #MastodonTips #AccessibleHashtags etc.

Within the next decade or so we'll be generating around a yottabyte (10^24) of data annually, so the General Conference on Weights and Measures is introducing ronna (10^27) & quetta (10^30) on the big side and ronto (10^-27) and quecto (10^-30) on the small side.

Just read this great paper on "Identifying cell states in single-cell RNA-seq data at statistically maximal resolution" by Pascal Grobecker, Thomas Sakoparnig and Erik van Nimwegen from

They address the issue of ad-hoc clustering of single-cell data by asking "[how can we] maximally reduce the complexity of the dataset without removing any of its meaningful structure"? And then answer it in a rigorous way implemented in {Cellstates}.#scRNAseq
