I am very happy to announce DeltaDTM, a cutting-edge global coastal Digital Terrain Model (DTM) made by @deltares which was just published in Nature Scientific Data https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-024-03091-9. Other coastal elevation models are often based on older data, or commercial in nature. DeltaDTM is the most accurate thus far, and free for everyone (CC-BY licensed). This publication is the first paper of my PhD research on creating better global elevation models using #NASA #ICESat-2 and #GEDI data.

Luke #Holland wurde nur 31 Jahre alt. Denn am 20. September 2015 wurde er am frühen Morgen von einem #Neonazi auf offener Straße in Neukölln ermordet.
Luke kam aus #Manchester und zog 2014 nach Berlin. Er wurde ermordet, weil er Englisch sprach. Kurz vor der Tat beschwerte sich der Mörder darüber, dass in der Bar, vor der er den Mord beging, „nur noch #Englisch und #Spanisch gesprochen“ werde. In seiner Wohnung wurden zahlreiche #Nazi-D#evotionalien, #Waffen, #Munition und #Sprengstoff gefunden. Ein rechtes #Tatmotiv wollten #Richter und #Staatsanwälte aber trotzdem nicht feststellen.
Lukes Vater Philip #Holland geht davon aus, dass Lukes Mörder 2012 auch Burak #Bektaş ermordet hat und der fehlende Ermittlungsdruck nach dem Mord an Burak dem Verdächtigen das Selbstvertrauen gegeben hat, auch seinen Sohn Luke umzubringen. Im Parlamentarischen #Untersuchungsausschuss zum „Neukölln-Komplex“ kritisierte er die polizeilichen #Ermittlungen scharf.
An Lukes 10. Todestag kommen wir an der Todesstelle zusammen, um ihm zu gedenken. Bringt gerne Blumen und Kerzen mit. Niemand wird vergessen!
