Because it looks bloody awful. And that's got NOTHING to do with the skateboard battery pack design. (Btw they dudn't have to do that. There's peoe building T shaped packs precisely to solve thw packaging constraints of batteries in a sports car.

I do not understand why senior Labour MPs didn't sit the PM down & say this:
"I can support you for no more than 12 months, with a stage gate at 6 months, unless you can turn the numbers around. If you want that support, let's sit down & work out a plan to make that happen'
Frankly it's PIP for the PM.
Maybe Burnham or whoever is popular with Labour members & MPs. Doesn't actually matter.
You win elections in this country by getting Non-party supporters in key locations to vote for you. -

Current polling in the constituancy gives the seat to Reform.

If I was in the Labour senior cabinet leadership, I’d be sitting him down and saying ‘You need to be doing this and this and this’ else I’m pulling my support for you.
Sort your shit out and while you are at it, but a brains trust together to really crack into these problems the country faces.

I’m not impressed with The PM.
He’s not shown enough balls enough of the time frankly.But I’m utterly unimpressed with the fashion for going through PMs like they are managers of Spurs or Chelsea or Man Utd.
It’s bad for democracy. And there’s enough threats there as it is.

Because there’s a by election… and it’s hard to see how it’s anything other then, elect this guy so he can do over the leader of the govt… which is a tricky needle to thread in my view.

Also, if the next labour leader (assuming Starmer goes) isn’t from the current leadership team, then I think pretty much there has to be an election.
If the manifesto is going to be torn up.
Else this is a narrow leadership issue that everyone likes the current manifesto, they just don’t like the guy at the top.
And if that’s the case, then Mr Burnham will be getting absolutely HAMMERED by his colleagues.

So the amoral sack of sh1t who set private investigators on journalists is quitting as an MP in a marginal seat so the Mayor of Manchester can dump that job he committed to do for 5 years, in order to try and be selected for that marginal seat, win that marginal seat and then go immediately to try and lead the party in question.
