I just pushed out the #newversion of #plutoreport_jl , a way to make awesome reports and talks in #Plutojl and #julialang!
The new version allows you to modify the inline #citation style and content post facto. Think using `--csl` in #pandoc. Now, CSS fixes are opt out! Some tiny UI fixes also featured.
PlutoReport.jl is now also on #zenodo - 10.5281/zenodo.7378474

So, in line with this, I made a package to simplify writing #Scientific_Reports and making #slides for talks easier in #Plutojl and #julia!

You can create citations which auto update and link to references. You can also use a control panel to time and present your report as a talk!

Holy fuck I love #Plutojl! Such low effort to make absolutely breathtaking #website/ #notebook / #Scientific_Reports . That with Plots.jl and PrettyTables.jl is all you need to go crazy!

I've noticed that profiles on certain instances have a "The below doesn't reflect the entire profile, see the web version for more". Why is this? Is this because my instance has not yet federated with the other instance? If so, how do I promote federation with a specific instance? Is it possible to override and force federation?

So apparently the #bluetooth service has to be started with the -E option if #bluetooth-battery levels are to be recorded by #upower.
Got a cute script to get the battery levels of my earphones if they are connected, which I put into the status bar in #dwm

So I tried to do some #gamedev yesterday for the first time. I started off with #godot and the #godottutorial , but after spending 2 hours, I still had no idea how to actually start writing a game.
So I switched to #GameZerojl and was able to get a flappy bird thing with only the bird ready in about 30 mins. I spent 35 min making the bird in #aseprite , which took almost 40 min to compile 😂😂😂
#GameZerojl needs to have a better type system instead of everything just being a global variable.

Has anyone used #Readrops as a client for a #freshrss server? It works well, but a pull to refresh syncs the client to the server, but does not refresh syncs on the server. Am I missing something? I will try to check if it works with the #FreshRSSAndroid app tomorrow, because all my feeds update only daily.
