Hmm.. upgraded my #Fedora39 to #Fedora40 on my main PC with a #Nvidia 3050 GPU.
Note: Running with KDE Plasma 6.
However both #Chrome and #Vivaldi browsers are both flickering like mad !
I cleared the GPUCache folders. No change.
I've re-installed both #Chrome and #Vivaldi but the flickering continues.
I've tried turning off Hardware Acceleration in both browsers..
I've tried running
sudo depmod -a
and rebooting but that didn't fix it.
Any thoughts/ideas?

Decided to try #LineageOS on my old OnePlus5T
The phone no longer gets updates from #OnePlus and I don't use it much so thought it would be a good device to try it on being my first custom rom since the old #CyanogenMod days.
Installation was a little tricky on #Linux / #Fedora but if you follow the instructions carefully it worked first time. (Docs could be improved a little)
Phone feels fresh and snappier.
Very impressed.
Not sure I'm brave enough just yet to try it on my daily driver !

Tried Today to create a simple Google Ad for my Local IT Support business.
Simple ad to let local people in my specific postcode about us.
Didn't realise that Google blocks all ads for 3rd Party PC Support. I can understand some extra checks might need to be made to make sure the business is legit and not people scamming passwords/logins etc but surely legit businesses should be able to advertise, especially as it has my phone number and home address on the ad
