A few months ago I advertised my daughter's old motorcycle jackets online. A couple days ago a possible buyer reached out, and I met her tonight. Turns out she is a brand new rider (just passed her safety course last weekend) and was looking for some decent gear on a budget. Now she and her girlfriend have armored textile jackets - a good start. Very happy to see new, young, safety conscious riders coming into the sport!

Spent the day on our first college tour with my daughter. The school is great and it is well known as one of the premiere programs in the area for the field she wants to study. The campus is nice and immediately adjacent to the small downtown area. It's a state school so tuition is more palatable.
The school's mascot is a Beaver.
My daughter is a bit naive.
My wife and I decided to have a conversation about a certain euphemism sooner rather than later. That was fun...

Added my first mobile 'user' to my fledgeling #homelab media server. My wife is now streaming #audiobooks from AudioBookshelf using the Absorb client.
She's actually pretty tech savvy, but doesn't have a lot of patience for oddball setup. But we got her up and running. It's been solid with very little hassle for me, so hopefully my tech support workload won't be too high!

The past couple weeks have been insane. Crossing my fingers that we're getting past it. The massive flood of relief I felt leaving work today led me to think about #3GoodThings
1) Daughter seems to be finally getting over some migraine/vertigo issues she's been fighting for a week (and 2 ER visits).
2) Mom possibly had a tiny stroke, but is out of the hospital with no apparent ill effects!
3) Lab audit and recertification successfully completed.

Enjoying a fantastic s'mores stout from #SpyglassBrewing, one of my favorite breweries in #NH
Extremely smooth, just a bit sweet, and a great, light touch of marshmallow and graham cracker flavor. Excellent balance, and probably the best delivery of any s'mores stout I've had. Does not advertise it's 10% ABV in the flavor at all. Could be dangerous!
