    Those particular rules haven't changed as far as I know, though many still seem to be pending on Georgia's government website (no doubt being fixed up now after Governor Kemp quietly signed the voting rule changes into law on Tuesday). The current rule of how the candidates are listed on the ballots only helps Republicans, so I don't know why it would change at this time.

    who are listed at the top of ballots (except in primaries and special elections) because of an elections rule where the name of the candidate who is of the same party as the current governor is shown at the top.

    Voters who haven't researched candidates might just pick the most prominent one at the top of the list.

    The governor quietly SIGNED INTO LAW a requirement ONLY for the 5 most populous Metro Atlanta counties of Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, Dekalb & Clayton that FORBIDS POLITICAL PARTY DESIGNATION on ballots for most elected officials.

    It also moves elections for all affected officials to May, when there is typically less voter turnout.
