One key part about Instants, is that you can only view an "Instant" once, it will disappear after 24 hours, and you can't screenshot them. It seems to have aspects of BeReal, Beme, and Snapchat.

All you can do is toggle between front/back cameras, your close friends or people you follow that follow you back, and then take a photo. There's no editing.

I hope it catches on. I preferred Instagram when it wasn't a place for perfectionism.

I've seen some videos and articles that to me seem to try and stir some outrage. All based on the possibility of "accidentailly" sharing images because you don't know how it works, or it not being safe.

I just went through the onboarding flow myself, and I don't think there's room for confusion. They even guide you through the UI to take a test photo (which is then not shared).

@martind Opposite. Pascal case is #LikeThis. Camel case has the first character lowercase.

I keep seeing people emphasise the benefits of writing hashtags #LikeThis with capitalised words. Although it keeps being referred to as camel case, instead of pascal case. And I want to let them know, but it also seems pretty rude. 🙃
