This bird is completely unknown in Europe, so I would like to clarify. Charadrius vociferus of the plover family, it got its name because of the sounds it makes. Ornithologists refer to it as “kill-deee” (though nothing similar, imho).The bird nests on the ground, and uses behavior that mimics a broken wing to distract predators.

У орнитологов он условно обозначается как "kill-deee" (хотя ничего похожего, имхо).Птица гнездится на земле, а для отвлечения хищников использует поведение с имитацией сломанного крыла.
P.S. У тех, кто изучает / имеет дело с птицами (орнитологи, охотники) вообще очень своеобразный подход к описанию звуков /песен. Насколько я понимаю, учитывается ритмический (слоговый) паттерн, который более-менее ложится на запоминающиеся слова. Из известных мне примеров (что за птицы — не скажу):
Зять-зять. Сел срать.
Под пнём. С ружьем.Дев-кууу. Дев-кууууу.
Зажал, зажал!
В угол. В угол.
Ёб-ёб-ёб-ёб-ёб! -
