  11. Oooh I finally checked and saw why this one #CI job randomly fails. I thought it was just because I run a sloppy infra but it’s actually a #Ansible role idempotency test failure (using #Molecule). The role is updating the apt cache which apparently sometimes returns as changed and sometimes not. lol gosh

  16. Does #anyone know the correct terminology for a #function that generates somewhat random data where subsequent calls only increases or decreases? Is monotonic the right word? I basically want to generate something like a unique ID that's as short as feasible and only "goes" in one direction so that they're sortable. Is this dumb?
