How do we know the rich don't like #regulation?
Take the market for #contemporaryart, where they are dominant:
largely unregulated, problems from the #exploitation of #artworkers to the utilisation of art in #moneylaundering, not to forget #artwashing - where art is used to obscure shady behaviour - are widespreadIn 2022 a Code of Conduct for Contemporary Art Collectors was launched, identifying such practices as unethical - it'll be interesting to see what effect this has!
