  23. How do we know the rich don't like #regulation?

Take the market for #contemporaryart, where they are dominant:
largely unregulated, problems from the #exploitation of #artworkers to the utilisation of art in #moneylaundering, not to forget #artwashing - where art is used to obscure shady behaviour - are widespread

In 2022 a Code of Conduct for Contemporary Art Collectors was launched, identifying such practices as unethical - it'll be interesting to see what effect this has!

  25. “Film is an organic material, it continues to degrade and corrode, so all of those elements spoke to a certain relationship to history that I felt in Nigeria. You don’t need to see the films to understand it; you can see it from what’s left of the films.”

  26. Another art monthly art prompt from @Lex_i : Aliens, and
    Walking in another's shoes!

While some alien species don't wear shoes, Vee metaphorically walked in another's shoes by being an Avali for a few weeks! He got to live aboard one of their space colonies. And got to try out their cuisine. And it just tastes so much better when you are an Avali!
