@arnelson to be fair it's not required nowadays to have that much space or wait for a workstation setup.
I simply got #pinecilv2 - (usb-c solder) from @PINE64, and together with good tip like bc2 (much easier to use) and some good solder wire like #kester to assemble my first mechanical keyboard.
Soldered few #pmw3360 since then as well :)
#omnifixo makes it even easier (but not required)My whole setup squeezed between two #corne halves:

And it's very, very, refreshing to see this - you're not the only one. There is much frustration and resentment in the developer community over this, and many have chosen to do this correctly instead of shaving corners and crippling the potentials.

I think that's easy to do as an embeded language in #CommonLisp by changing the reader function for the #\( reader construction.
You can lexically bind the variable *readtable* such that the reader expands the syntax in the way you'd like.
Outside of this transient binding, the usual CL syntax will be active.

Day 2 of unemployment: at least now I have enough time to finish Paper Mario TTYD! I beat Bonetail after Chapter 6; stacking Power Plus badges is really broken.
I should probably be updating my résumé instead. 🙃

Finally starting the remake of my favorite game of all time!

Taking an MBTA train for the first time since Covid, headed to Boston for PAX East!
It feels so weird to be on the train again after 4 years...

Started up Pokémon Violet for the first time in months, going to start the Teal Mask DLC today!
What I've heard about the DLC so far hasn't been great... but at least I get another chance to use my mono-Poison team, which I forgot to post about while playing through the main game!

Bwahahaha! "Rather debate which text editor is better!"
Okay. This is great.
So I started looking deeper and found a lot of positive initial traction for #VEX. I also found this post, "https://energycentral.com/c/pip/vex-concept-burdensome-software-vendors-and-unnecessary-software-consumers"
My initial reaction is this: the transfer of cost of poorly secured code is mostly born up by the consumer. Getting greater granularity can help optimize the costs customers have to bear up in securing products they've purchased. Looking at the #Hiscox spend trending for cyberleaders - it marched up from 13% of IT operating to 24% in a matter of 3 years. What does regression to the mean look like?
We need help. There's not an infinite well of funds or time to secure other people's mistakes.

@GottaLaff @ACNelson Follow-up after listening to the Jack Podcast. Basically, according to Andy & Allison, the #Routh motion for recusal/removal is quite weak. Although it alleges “appearance of impropriety/bias” (which many of us would agree w/from a common sense perspective) the legal standard for this is high. Routh’s reasons don’t cut it yet (ex: 11th circ. hasn’t overturned Cannon’s case dismissal (yet), attny general thing is unsubstantiated, tfg could have plausible deniability, etc.).1/

Nach 15 Jahren: Dave Arnesons Blackmoor: Age of the Wolf
https://www.rascal.news/ink-bat-to-publish-d-d-co-creator-dave-arnesons-final-rpg-project/
"Studio Ink Bat announced today that it will release the final tabletop roleplaying game sourcebook directly overseen by the late Dave Arneson, co-creator of #DnD and the creator of #Blackmoor, the fantasy setting in which the game was first incubated. [...] the book is a fiction of ideas, taking the classic setting’s timeline and sending it centuries into the future."
