    It's embarrassing but I don't get the joke :-(

Is go so good (or bad) at error handling?

  6. @anderseknert We used it when I was working on a project called #Egeria (a metadata repository). You may find the current community (egeria-project.org) has some feedback - I’ve been out of it too long, though one of the maintainers lived locally

  7. Just pushed a new version of kube-review, my tiny tool for creating #Kubernetes admission review objects out of any YAML resource manifest. Perfect for testing admission controller implementations offline, or author #Rego k8s policies using those as input.

how would we compare and contrast #valkey, #keydb, #dragonflyDB
also the legal framework and future exposure to #enshitification

I work on linux and open source solutions only.

  12. @anderseknert This looks really cool - I need to carve out some time at work to dive back into Open Policy Agent. We have a decent little workflow for validating Terraform plans, but I'd love to get it further refined.

Plus, getting a OPA server rather than trusting the engineers/pipeline to validate their own policy would be nice.

  13. @anderseknert Looks like the replies to your post were deleted, since they certainly didn't look good for him!

To help other readers understand, #MongoDB is #proprietary and not #opensource. @osi did not approve the #SSPL as open source. The SSPL is also #nonfree.

The only one who claims that MongoDB/SSPL is open source is a single person who is #openwashing proprietary software using his website and his GitHub repo with 1 star. Just ignore it.

That's some solid thoughts on #MastodonDesign I look forward to #Calckey and other fedi platforms telling us how they've implemented them. 😢

  15. @anderseknert #devoxxgr I had so many wonderful people, great vendors, amazing speakers, and incredible organizers. Athens is a gem I was lucky to experience. 10/10 would come here again!

  16. @mrueg just use #conftest as you would :) Or plain old #OPA. You can use my kube-review tool to create admission review objects from resource manifests github.com/anderseknert/kube-r

  17. Side project reveal 😃 In order to learn more about #ClojureCLR — and #dotnet + the #CLR in general — I tried to find existing projects to look at. Since I didn't find much, I decided to try my luck porting something from Clojure on the JVM. Enter #ring-clr, a port the Ring HTTP abstraction popular in Clojure, made available for ClojureCLR. Most things should work pretty much as-is, but some work remains with e.g. file uploads.

  18. @MaierAmsden @anderseknert For as better as the fediverse is than centralized anything, it can't overcome the human condition of breaking into tribes. Safety in numbers. Validation through shared opinion. Splitting hairs on swasticar bumper sticker verbiage or the mortality rates of diseases to justify their elimination with vaccines that are 99.9% effective in doing so, as if the goal for any nation shouldn't be zero child deaths due to communicable disease.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  24. So I just packaged kube-review (by @anderseknert) for @opensuse #Tumbleweed. Will come in handy once I start playing with Admission controllers and #OPA and the likes soon-ish.

Has been submitted to devel:kubic and will be sent to Tumbleweed once accepted.
