I have never in my life subscribed to #Crimeflare's blog and I just now got this email to both [email protected] and [email protected]. It appears to actually be from Cloudflare and not someone spoofing their address.
This is the second time I've had to unsubscribe from their shit after never even subscribing in the first place. -

i can't see why we couldn't have this completely decentralised. we don't need crawlers to go everywhere.
we could begin with a simple "search engine" for our own files and web content (part of the reasoni started #achoz).
the biggest technical issue i personally see (broken links and lack of cache), archive.org already tackles. although mostly centralised, it really only lacks decentralisation (which shall come!). -

Would hold off on upgrading to Misskey 12.96.0
Amolith and I were experiencing strange problems... in my case it just wasn't listening on its designated port yet spit out no console errors (andnpm listcrashed after a few entries... which was nice).
No idea, but this just do be how the node ecosystem is be like :nkoDead:

Hello everyone! Been lurking here for a few days, and now that I've sort of gotten familiar with the platform and it looks like a good place to stay (I've been rather hesitant to try out yet more platforms these days, but the added functionality over Mastodon and Pleroma feels worth it) - here's my belated #introduction note.
I'm a #Linux developer - see my profile for my other Fediverse presence - my $dayjob is for a proprietary social media company, and apart from the lack of editing, the only thing I really miss from that platform in #Fediverse platforms is having custom reactions rather than just star/like - and guess I found it here!
I'm into #Gemini as well - gemini://tilde.team/~michel/ - and blog on https://michel-slm.name/ ; I might use my gemlog for random musings and re-note them here once I get into the swing of it.
