I need to give another shout-out to #Alpinestars (https://www.alpinestars.com). One of my heated gloves stopped working, and despite the fact that it was well outside of the U.S. warranty for the gloves, Alpinestars replaced the pair for just the cost of me shipping the broken pair back to them.
I will absolutely looking to this company first for #motorcycle gear in the future, given how solidly they stand behind their products. -

My #AlpineStars #TechAir had a canister fault & was "recalled". I put it off, but finally rang, expecting "bring your receipt & leave it, could be a few weeks". I couldn't have been wronger "bring it in and we'll replace the canisters while you wait". 5 mins after walking in, I walked out with a fixed #AirVest. I also got to watch. Replacing canisters is incredibly easy - I could have done it, but watching helps.

After I wrote to them asking how to buy a spare pair of rechargeable batteries for my heated #motorcycle gloves, to double the distance I can travel with heated gloves in the winter, they sent me a pair of batteries for free. Sweet!

Both air vest and Halo jacket are heavy.Removing the air vest's shoulder & elbow pads (using only the jacket's) improves fit & comfort considerably.
A stationary backwards somersault *does not trigger* the air bags - at least not in *enduro* mode... Stupid stand wasn't put down by stupid rider & stupid bike & stupid rider fell over 😂
I missed having a backpack, & should have fitted a bladder to the vest.
The jacket jacketed. More later.

Initial thoughts. It's heavy. It's going to be warm. A jacket or overwear large enough to allow the airbag to expand is essential. I tried an AlpineStars Halo jacket in the same size. Not a chance. We did it up, but I couldn't bend... 😂 Removing the jacket armour and liners will help, but not that much! They're getting the next two sizes up in for me to try, and I'll do more exercise... 🤔
