- In my usage #DejaVuBackup & #PikaBackups both work very well. #Celeste too for syncing files with #Nextcloud- Everything #AppManager does is possible w/ #Flatseal, #GnomeSoftware, & opening #flatpak manifests or specific to #Android activities, which are loosely analogous to #DBus services, which #DSpy works well for.
- Never used #Gemini, but #Alpaca works super well with communicating w/ #LLMs via #Ollama. Would make for an awesome #GNOME #SearchProvider

Say what you will about the vibe coders, but they built a Google Suite-like web interface with a Gmail, Google Photos, Drive, Google Flights, Amazon that categorizes the Jeffrey Epstein files that were publicly released.
There's more stuff that will be integrated into this as per the article, such as Apple Music but for the grand jury transcripts, and a 3D VR tour of Jeffrey's Upper East Side mansion, among other things.

Finished my first day using Gram (Zed fork) as a replacement for VSCode and I think it's already become my daily-driver.

No but for real, I'm working on a handy userscript that integrates in the YT Music UI that lets you hide slop based on the channel it's published by.
I had more than enough of AI slop music, brainrot garbage and shit music, it's time to zap them away from the interface for good 😈
It 'zaps' them, as in, removes them from the web page entirely.
Currently, only albums and songs are being zapped for matching the channel URL, but I'm trying to handle albums and songs as well, and hoping to release this in a couple of days.

Why, in any fucking Universe, is this possible, and why am I not surprised it happened in Romania? Just imagine if your local school inspectorate did this.
Spreading pseudo science is NOT the best thing to do when the current education system is collapsing in on itself like a house of cards because it's extremely archaic, subpar, and it doesn't benefit the students?
You're encouraged to compete with the rest of the kids, you're supposed to memorize long-ass essays like a robot instead of being able to think for yourself.

Two days ago I was fucking about, disabling some services in Google Play Services using AppManager, and I saw that they were still running (e.g. NearbyShare), so I decided to force-stop it.
As you may or may not know, Google Play Services is deeply fucking ingrained in your Android installation, and if it ever goes wrong, sometimes even more so, such as in my case - even for disabling something as innocent as Nearby Share's services and activities -, your phone will be stuck in a soft boot loop. Phone start animation -> lock screen, which allows you to stay on it forever -> home screen - at which point, after entering your password and unlocking your phone, the phone reboots back to the phone start animation.
In this state, unless you have ADB shell access like I do (which is not great to leave on generally for security purposes), or a recovery mode, the data on your phone is fucked until you re-flash everything.

@alextecplayz @cassidy #GoogleLens is one of the only features I miss since switching to #GrapheneOS. Very useful with no #FOSS alternatives on any platform afaik. I suppose this could be done with an extension for #GnomeShell, OCR, image classification models, & reverse image search.
#GoogleAssistant too, but there's already a decent stack with #FasterWhisper & #Wyoming with #HomeAssistant. I'd like to build a #GTK client to integrate with this on #Linux systems.
