Not much to look at, but it saved me on a hackathon 2 years ago. My "older but good enough" laptop only did 2.4G WiFi, but my venue only had 5G WiFi available 😭
Yes, in hindsight, my laptop was not good enough!
The one and only time I have waited outside a Currys for it to open 😄
It saved me, and the hackathon was an absolute blast - the skills I learnt then, I still use today!

I've ordered a Qualcomm QCNCM865 wifi/BT card, we'll see how that goes. I'd have gone for an Intel BE200 card, but Intel hates AMD. MediaTek hates everyone, and I hate Qualcomm, so Wifi 7 chipsets are a bit of a shit-show.
