I think you're confused about what is meant by learning. The Thai library experiment is an exercise in empathy where you're invited to consider the immense challenge of bootstrapping yourself into a language you don't speak without bringing in outside aids.

I hate fireworks. Tonight sounds like a warzone. The police did crackdown on kids buying them quite some time back, which is good. When I first moved to Liverpool there were kids firing them off all over the place, very dangerous. #guyfawkesnight

I'm not sure if it's satisfying to discover there is a word for the bizarre habit you have, like "good i'm not the only one" or if it's bad that so many people do this that that's a bad thing in itself.
*Doom Box* (bag/pile/etc) is when you dump things in a box, rather than sort/ tidy properly.

#ghoulsnghosts after that. I am terrible at this. I had a very similar game Ghosts and Goblins for the #zxspectrum back in the late 80's, which I was equally as bad at. It shows the map just before you start, there are bits of this game I will never see.

It's some "Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap" on the #MasterSystem for me today. I had this, it must've been one of my favourites as a child.
You start off as a human, but almost immediately get turned into a lizard man. I remember there are several further transformations to come. A mouse man and a bird man spring to mind. They each let you access different areas in a Metroidvania style adventure.

I find it so annoying where a group of people have had snacks/food/drink etc and then just leave all thr rubbish there. The steps/seats along the edge of the beach was (literally) littered. And it's not like there is no bins here. 😡 #keepbritaintidy

I had forgotten quite how bizarre the dressmaker's dummy was in Ragdolly Anna. This was an #80s kids programme, I'm amazed we didn't all have nightmares. Maybe they reused a Dr Who cyberman… #BritishTelevision
