Thank! I’ll check out your article. I would switch right away if i was 100% down with the security. I would need to make sure that it was 100% locked down. I guess that's not a super big ask.
Maybe I just need to be able to make sure that vault required authentication before opening.
I just feel like #DayOne is kind of simple.

@3dprinting I've finally started filling the Gridfinity storage in the top of my enclosure. Here are some custom bins for the nozzle change tools and spare nozzles. Thanks to @Ronguest for the nozzle tube model.

Electricians were doing work at the house today which required cutting off all power so I seized the chance to check RF noise on the bands.
Really not much of interest, which is good. First (possibly left depending on your client) image is with power off, second power on. All bands were similar. Basically boring.

It started like this…
A Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber model and two U7 Pro XG access points (6 stream WiFi 7).I 3D printed a vertical stand for one AP and a horizontal stand for the other which really seemed to accentuate the flying saucer vibe.
I was frustrated with the poor WiFi performance of our Synology gear. Finally took the plunge on Unifi and I’m very happy now. Plus the management software is powerful and cool. Like others these 3 devices are not the end of the story.

I've decommissioned my 10 year old Synology NAS. I erased and reformatted the drives but I always like to got the extra step. That mirror finish never fails to impress me. Well, it **used** to have a mirror finish.🙃

Playing around with my Unifi wireless setup and created a network with MLO enabled on my WiFi 7 access points (hence the 802.11be). Getting 865Mbps download on an iPhone 16 ain't bad over a 1G fiber link.
But my iPad which only has 801.11ax gets nearly the same speeds.

I've used TPU on a number of models but the print I just started is a definite step beyond: 13 hour print that covers the entire PEI sheet. I've had consistently good results with TPU but I’m nervous about this one…

Welp, yesterday's failed TPU print had thrown off some layer strands and the most fragile part of the fan shroud on the MK4s caught one an was damaged. S
o instead of having another go at the TPU print I printed a couple of replacement parts on my Core One+ using PC CF. Gotta love how easily the C1+ handles PC.
Back to TPU on the MK4S tomorrow.
