🇫🇷 Finalement, je me suis tenu à mon programme, reste la dernière partie, la lecture qui viendra après ce message. 🙂
Quelques photos ferroviaires faites lors de déplacements sur le terrain lors de ma formation en 2005 où en quelques jours, nous avions été voir de plus près diverses installations et procédures des réseaux étrangers limitrophes.
La gare de formation de Forest-Voitures est responsable pour les rames qui viennent garer depuis Bruxelles-Midi comme cet EuroNigt "Jan Kiepura" qui très brièvement (deux ans à peine) relia Bruxelles à Varsovie emmené par la locomotive polycourant de la série 16.
A Tournai, nous avions été voir les automotrices AM96 bi-courant (tranche 441-490) qui officient encore de nos jours sur les trains entre Tournai et Lille-Flandres. Ce fut aussi l'occasion de photographier deux diesel 77-78.
Enfin, nous avions été à Maastricht pour voir la procédure de départ des trains aux Pays-Bas et là, c'est un charmant petit locotracteur vert de Nedtrain que j'avais croisé.

During my schooling, we did make a visit at every neighbours networks to see installations and processes in railway operations.
Forest-Voitures/Vorst-Rijtuigen is the yard responsible for all trains ending or starting from Brussels-Midi like the ephemere EuroNight 349 "Jan Kiepura" that joined for a short time Brussels with Warsaw worked by oldtimer Class 16 which was capable of operating under 4 different voltages.
In Tournai, we had a look at the dual voltage EMU Class AM 96 (Nrs. 441-490) which still operating trains to Lille-Flandres in 2025. I also could photograph two Diesel Locomotives Class 77-78.
Finally, we went also to Maastricht to see how trains depart in the Netherlands and I could photograph that nice green shunter from Nedtrain.

Il y a 20 ans...
Un saut en arrière, c'est ce que je propose ici avec des photos prises le 30 juillet 2004.
Les trains ont été ma passion depuis l'âge de 14 ans et des photos ferroviaires, j'en ai pris pas mal surtout quand j'ai eu mon premier appareil photo digital. Allons faire un tour sur la ligne Luxembourg - Wasserbillig - Trier-Hbf à Roodt/Syre et Wecker.
Si aujourd'hui, l'essentiel du trafic voyageurs est assuré par des automotrices à deux niveaux, ce n'était pas le cas à l'époque... Seules rescapées de cette époque mais plus pour longtemps, ce sont les automotrices Z2000 des CFL de fabrication française et basée sur les Z2 monophasées (pouvant circuler uniquement sur les lignes électrifiées en 25 kV AC) livrées à la SNCF et basées à Thionville. Les CFL ont profité de la chaîne de montage (et économisé de l'argent) pour acquérir 22 rames presqu'identiques pour son service intérieur.
Le reste du matériel illustré ici a disparu...

For 20 years
Taking a look back is the purpose of this message. The pictures shown were taken exactly for 20 years, on July, 30.
Railways have been a passion since I was 16 and took lots of pictures when I did get my first digital camera. Let's go for a tour on the Luxembourg - Wasserbillig - Trier-Hbf railway at the stations of Roodt/Syr and Wecker.
Today, the most services are in the hands of bi-level-EMU's but then, there was more variety and most of the trains showed here are already a long time withdrawn except the Z2000 2-cars EMUs which are living their last months now... They are based on the Z2 EMUs that were delivered to the SNCF-Depot of Thionville. The CFL took advantage of ordering a ready to be delivered model (and saved money too).
