@PamJarvis @YorksBylines In all honesty I can’t see the slightest bit of relevance of any of this family to contemporary British being. I’m sure there’s times that have felt unpleasant for many of them, and I would not want that for anyone. However a cursory glance at the quantity of food banks in the UK does bring some perspective on how humans in our land experience hardship. They would be more respected for detaching themselves from our state. #constitutionalchange

@JenRoberts @edutooters Attention needs to be paid to providing children with challenge to stretch them, but not impossible targets/ continual ‘tick box’ assessments that wreck their #MentalHealth (& that of their teachers). England’s National Curriculum/ schools inspection system has a big problem with this ATM. Practical activity& #OutdoorLearning can be helpful here. Tech can enhance these modes of learning too! #education #teachers #teaching #schools
