A bunch of kids were dancing around it earlier, having figured out the use of tools and weaponry. I gave them space.

Mist covers a muddy patch of road, because it is +22C and snow is melting. The meltwater flooded the road earlier, leading to a belated digging-out of the culvert on the left. It appears to be still blocked.

But that is not what happened here - rather, some discerning drinker, probably on a snowmobile, recognized the lowly nature of the product and tossed the entire case into the bush in a rage, leaving it to freeze and distort the cans.

Woodshed vibes.
A shooting target sits in the center. Paper is clipped to a foamboard base. "I should practice", I say optimistically every year. Mostly, I don't. I fired one shot last year. I brought home one deer. Pretty efficient.

Snow chains are visible on the front tires.
The battery is sitting to the left of the coolant bottle. An electric warming blanket is wrapped around the battery.
Hydraulic arms are visible on the right and the left. They lift the snow plow, which is out of the frame.

Just a few days ago my mother-in-law was asking me, "now that you are retired, do you think you will do bird photography?" and while I said something polite in response, my mind was thinking "I can't decide if birding or watching golf is more boring".
Anyway, then a barred owl showed up just outside the window. We could clearly hear it calling "to-wit-to-woo" before we saw it.
Bird photography is definitely better than watching golf.
