It’s a big day for Dulwich Hamlet FC women today as they find themselves in the 2nd Round of the #FACup, travelling to a team two tiers above them, Billericay Town. Dulwich comfortably overcame London Bees from the same league as Billericay in the previous round, can they cause another upset this afternoon? #dhfc #WomensFootball

I found this kunai kill on a Sojourn who had slid right across my view to attack me very satisfying #Overwatch2 #Kiriko

Half time Hashtag United 0-1 Dulwich Hamlet. In an eventful first half, Dulwich suffered an early blow, a red card for defender Manny Parry, 21 minutes into his debut. However they rallied to take the lead, Luke Wanadio, returning to the club for a third spell, twisted and turned before finding the net with a low shot. Dulwich will have a tricky second half though, having used all three of their subs in the first half. #NonLeagueFootball #Isthmian #DHFC

Today is the opening day for the 23-24 #Isthmian Premier League season. Dulwich Hamlet find themselves back at this level after relegation from the National League South last season. The curtain-raiser sees them travel to Essex to face Hashtag United, who were promoted from Division One North of the Isthmian League. They play at the Len Salmon Stadium, home of Bowers & Pitsea. #NonLeagueFootball #DHFC

Half time Dulwich Hamlet 0-1 Chippenham Town. Everything going wrong for Dulwich as their losing and Weymouth winning 2-0 at Dover means that as things stand we are heading for relegation. A poor half of football at Champion Hill, opponents capitalising on loose passing at the back has been a hallmark of the season and it’s come back to haunt us today at the worst time. #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

Just set up an automatic feeder and water fountain for the cat. She’s quite suspicious of technology so let’s see how it goes. #CatsOfMastodon #CatTech

Final leg of the journey was quite spectacular. We took the Stubaitalbahn tram from Innsbruck 🇦🇹 main station all the way into the mountains. Journey took an hour and I was looking out of the window the whole time! We shared the tram with a group of children coming home - what a commute to school they have! We then had a tiring 20 minute slog dragging our cases up the final bit of mountain. And we’ve arrived! Tomorrow my daughter and I start ski school. #NoFlying #SlowTravel

Finally just over 24 hours after leaving home, we cross the border to Austrian and not long after we’ve arrived in Innsbruck🇦🇹! Our journey is not quite finished, as we’re heading into the mountains for some skiing but we have a few hours to explore the city first #NoFlying #SlowTravel

Woke up in Munich 🇩🇪! We’re about an hour behind schedule but overall a fairly comfortable journey. The movement of the train through the night is quite strange but I think it helped daughter to a very sound sleep! Breakfast is now served (included in the ticket). Simple but tasty, if a little awkward to eat as you can’t really sit upright in the bunks #NoFlying #SlowTravel

We boarded the NightJet 40 minutes late. It’s been a strange experience so far! We have a sleeper cabin for three and the word compact doesn’t do if justice! It was a challenge just getting our stuff in but once we’d figured it out it’s well designed with the bunks one on top of the other. Initially the cabin is set up with seats and we had to wait a little while for the attendant to come around to convert it to beds. Family are asleep now and we’ve made it to Cologne 🇩🇪 #NoFlying #SlowTravel

The sadly inevitable news that our sleeper train is heavily delayed. Not what you want to see with a tired 6 year old and freezing cold temperatures in the station #NoFlying #SlowTravel

Arrived at Utrecht 🇳🇱 where we will catch the overnight sleeper to Innsbruck 🇦🇹 later this evening. We may have ended up with a bit too much time to kill before then, especially burdened with our luggage but before we worry about that we’re heading for some Vietnamese street food #NoFlying #SlowTravel

Final score Fisher 1-2 Jersey Bulls. At no point in the game would you have known that Fisher had a player advantage. Jersey dominated and deservedly grabbed the winner right at the death #FAVase #NonLeagueFootball

At half time, Fisher lead 1-0. Jersey have given themselves a mountain to climb with a straight red for a dangerous tackle on the half hour mark. Surprisingly though, the visitors have dominated possession since losing a man and have gone close to an equaliser twice from free kicks #FAVase #NonLeagueFootball

Usually you’ll find me supporting Dulwich Hamlet FC on a Saturday or Sunday but today I’m at my (even more) local team, Fisher, who hail from Rotherhithe in SE London. Today they take on Jersey Bulls in the 2nd Round of the #FAVase. Both teams play at level 9 of English football. It’s an early 13.30 kick off, presumably so the visitors can catch a flight home after the game. Fisher take the lead after 15 minutes.

It’s do or die for Dulwich Hamlet men today. Final game of the #NationalLeagueSouth season, home to Chippenham Town. A point will be enough to secure safety, in a three way tussle between Dulwich, Weymouth and Dover to avoid the final relegation spot. The latter two are playing each other in what will surely be a tense climax to the season. #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

Goal-scorer Porter was also sent off in injury time, meaning the game ended with just 18 players on the pitch, but the game ended in a draw, condemning Hungerford to relegation and setting-up a crucial game for Dulwich against Concord Rangers, who won again today, on Tuesday evening. #NationalLeagueSouth #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

Half time Hungerford Town 0-0 Dulwich Hamlet. Dulwich got a huge boost after just 15 minutes, when Hungerford received a straight red card for a bad tackle, which seemed a little harsh. Dulwich failed to take advantage, creating little in the first 45. Hungerford must win to avoid relegation today so the game should open up in the second half #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

It’s the final away game of the season for Dulwich Hamlet men today and another huge one as they travel to relegation rivals Hungerford Town. Although Dulwich are six points clear of the final relegation spot with three to play, a defeat today could let Concord Rangers in, who travel to Dulwich’s Champion Hill on Tuesday and have a game in hand to play on Thursday. #NationalLeagueSouth #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

It’s a bumper Easter weekend of football at Dulwich Hamlet. Today the women’s team host Ebbsfleet United, league leaders in the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League (at the 5th tier of English womens’ football). Both teams are in great form, the hosts 8 games unbeaten, the visitors 11. However Dulwich have knocked Ebbsfleet out of two cups this season, so may have a psychological advantage. #WomensFootball #dhfc

Final score Dulwich Hamlet 1-0 Cheshunt. A huge result for the home team, with Johl Powell getting the decisive goal on ‘57. Clean sheets have been extremely rare for Dulwich this season so it was a tense end to the game but in truth there wasn’t much to worry Grainger in the Hamlet goal. The two sides swap places but with 5 games to go there’s still work to do for Dulwich to stay up. #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

Season defining game for Dulwich Hamlet men today. Six games to go in the #NationalLeagueSouth season, they sit just inside the relegation zone. The opponents, Cheshunt, are one point above - so a Dulwich win will see them swap places. After a mini-revival at the start of March, they’ve now gone 4 games without a win. Another defeat today would feel like a huge blow to any chance of staying up. Should be a sellout crowd at Champion Hill to see what happens #dhfc #NonLeagueFootball

Half time Dartford 1-0 Dulwich Hamlet. A scrappy goal separates the teams as Dulwich’s keeper spilled a ball as he tried to take it from the feet of a Dartford player and it falls kindly for an easy tap in. Dulwich are competitive but have failed to create any chances of note #NonLeagueFootball #dhfc

There are just 7 games to go for Dulwich Hamlet men in the #NationalLeagueSouth. Last week they finally dropped into the bottom 4 and face a tough test today trying to climb straight out, as they travel to 2nd place Dartford. After today, Dulwich’s last 3 games will have been against the top 3 #dhfc #NonLeagueFootball

Full time Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 Havant & Waterlooville. The visitors took the lead following a swift counter from a failed Dulwich short corner. It looked like the hosts had blown their chance to capitalise on a man advantage for most of the game. But with the clock ticking down, Powell equalised after the Havant keeper had a clearance blocked. Then in stoppage time, following a spell of intense pressure, Porter got the winning goal to give Dulwich back to back home wins #dhfc

It’s a crucial afternoon for Dulwich Hamlet men today. Failure to beat Havant & Waterlooville could see them finally slip into the #NationalLeagueSouth relegation zone. A recent change of manager yielded a first win in 11 games last weekend but it will be tough to repeat that against opponents in 5th place looking to secure a playoff spot #dhfc #NonLeagueFootball

Full time Hampton 2-0 Dulwich. In the second half, Dulwich had the ball in the net early on but it was ruled out for offside. From there, the wheels fell off as Hampton began to dominate, scoring twice to give themselves a cushion to see the game out. Late on Hampton had a man sent off for pulling down Dulwich’s forward Porter when through on goal. It looked inside the box but the ref opted for a free kick and sending off instead of penalty and a yellow. #dhfc #NonLeagueFootball

Half-time Hampton & Richmond 0-0 Dulwich Hamlet. Not a huge amount for either set of fans to get excited about at the interval. Dulwich’s tall striker Danny Mills is winning a lot of long balls, if only someone could get on the end of his flicks. #dhfc #NonLeagueFootball
