Urban sketching has been fun last year and is equally fun this year too. I explored some new set ups for me last weekend and wrote a tiny post about them.
Because I want to pack lightly but also be most versatile for different occasions. So it's tricky to know and estimate what needs to go in my bag and the combination of supplies.

Life is crazy... so after shipping a ton of snow, I wanted to present you some Dante (#dog) in snow and my newest nerdy socks, which I've knitted for my partner.

It's been a while, but of course Heribert is excited for Christmas, baking cookies, writing friends and sending lots of cards too. Hope you're all excited too. For me, it's always a cozy time with colorful lights and cozy evenings.

Portrait of little Dorian, a viewer request from one of my streams. The owner is curious about the #pigment PBk19 and so it's what I used to paint him. With additional goodie of PO49 for the bell.
Dorian is cute and adorable, it was lots of fun to paint him.

New watercolor tutorial went live today, it's a sunlit autumn forest. Painting sunlit spaces can be tricky in watercolor and you need to adjust and leave enough white to make it actually look sunny and light.
The live was edited, so there are no drying times or empty minutes. It's in real time still, so easy to follow for good results.
You might catch glimpses into the running dnd campaign.

New Color Study video went live today, it's about pigment PV23 Dioxazine Violet, which is found in almost every basic set, in school, student grade and professional paints alike. It's a lovely purple, but what's more to it, the properties, how it mixes and how dangerous or not it is for our environment, you can see here:

New Color Study of PG50 Cobalt Teal/Cobalt Turquoise went life today.
I show swatches, mixes and a monochromatic painting to see how the pigment behaves during painting. This usually shows all its properties better and... is fun for me. :D -

Oftentimes pigments and paints need to be safely disposed of as toxic waste, so for artists, who use a lot, disposing of old paint can become an issue. (If you're responsible...)
