Poor Britain, no path to sanity.
"Barefoot In The Head" was a Brian Aldiss book 1979, SciFi, a true great book.
The premise is that the 3rd World War was fought between Saudi Arabia and Europe, and the Saudis dropped hallucinogenic bombs, producing multi year LSD trips in most of the population.
I propose a national study to determine if the book is fiction.

@JeniParsons I think maybe this sanction against me for standing up to a fascist is a blessing in disguise. An opportunity to leave the #birdsite and create a new #socialmedia existence over here. I'm not exactly missing the nasty nonsense spouted by the likes of Calvin Robinson (who blocked me for challenging how he could square being a #Christian whilst promoting the ideas of #EnochPowell) and "Canon" Phil Harris who claims to follow Christian #Nationalism alongside being an #Anglican!

Currently in #TwitterJail for daring to stand up to hard right shock jock Benny Johnson who called President Zelenskyy "an ungrateful piece of shit", because of what he wore during his incredible visit to #WashingtonDC. I got my account restricted for use of a rude word, whilst Mr Johnson can carry on spreading misinformation about #Zelenskyy, including the claim that he is "not #Christian" and that he is oppressing the #Russian #Orthodox #Church

@Cyclist @JeniParsons very #sloppyjournalism indeed. I responded to the recent BBC questionnaire that I had stopped watching or listening to BBC news programmes as:
1) They were factually inaccurate,
2) When I pointed this out (this case is an great exemplar, eg TfW is owned by the Welsh Gov as are Scot Tail etc) they responded more than once that the facts were disputed.
3) They failed to be impartial, see response to 2 above, and many news reports favour one side. QT & 🐸. -

From that post: "The aim of #distributism is #family #ownership of land, workshops, stores, transport, trades, professions, and so on." How does that lead to elimination of private property? I fail to see what you are seeing.
