Just learned about a “dementia village” in the Netherlands called the Hogewyk. What a fantastic concept to give people with dementia the care they need but in a “normal” setting with specialty support and dementia-specific accommodations.

The Niland Geyser has been on the move since 2016 and is the only known moving mud pot in the world. It poses interesting challenges to infrastructure in the area.

I found myself with the folding task I dislike most: the dreaded fitted sheet. I have never been able to fold one in a way that didn’t make me cringe at the end result.
