  2. Just updated my Debian images for MilkV DuoS support.
Many thanks @tllim and for giving me a DuoS board to get this done.

  3. Just released a Debian image (and builder) for the Sophgo SG200x chips. (This includes the MilkV Duo256, LicheeRVNano and soon, the DuoS). The Buildroot images they provide are nice, but nothing like having a few thousand packages ready to install at your fingertips on 256Mb of Ram (or 512Mb if you splurged on the DuoS!)

    It runs surprisingly well!

  7. So the @PINE64 now has a fundamentally functional - with some caveats - usable desktop boot image. Touch screen and WiFi are good. Git and Firefox work. And here's a photo of it running Node.js v20.5.1 and an early access build of 21 😁😍
Credit to @Fishwaldo for getting this KDE Plasma image available!

  8. I just received a EIC7700x Devboard from eswin.

I am suitably impressed. Clocks at 1.4Ghz, but it wipes the floor with the SpaceMit SOC’s. (And according to docs, it can clock up to 1.8Ghz, so it still has a lot of room to grow)

DDR5 at 6400M/T certainly helps, but it’s even doing very well on Cypto/openSSL benchmarks and 7zip (thanks to SBC-benchmark script)

  9. When your SBC obsession leads to searches for alternative power sources instead of over-populated power boards.

(Hoping for a sunny day tomorrow so I can do some load testing!)

  10. Currently building new images for the and . This is going to take a while, so I thought I’d take the dog for a walk, only to find him passed out like this!

  11. For those using my plasma images for - new images have just been uploaded fixing charger and power issues, touchpad and a few other things. Grab the latest image here: pine64.my-ho.st:8443/pinetabv/ (GitHub has more details on the changes)

  12. My KDE Plasma Image for the is now available for testing. Still lots to fix up but this has full GPU desktop acceleration, and feels responsive, even running from a SD card. Check wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PineTab-v for details. @PINE64 @pine64eu
