But also a sad note to this: When I import one of those annotated GPX files into Garmin via Connect, it only picks up the route points that are right on the course, not those with a little distance.
I also can't manually add a course point in the Connect web app that is not directly on the course.
If anyone is aware of a workaround, that would be great 🙂

I found a lovely tool for planning long-distance cycling or walking routes, where you need to resupply along the route:
You upload your GPX route, set a distance you're willing to go from it, and get a map with gas stations, supermarkets, cafes, bakeries, etc. on it as POI. You can then select favorites, and export them as GPX again, to use when riding or walking.

Ich finde es spannend, wie unterschiedlich Vatertag und Muttertag begangen werden, gerade vor dem sozialen Hintergrund.
- Vatertag: Väter sind "endlich" mal "frei" und besaufen sich mit Bollerwagen.
- Muttertag: Mütter kriegen vielleicht mal einen Blumenstrauß.AFAIK immer noch übliche Rollenverteilung: Väter sind auf Arbeit, Mütter machen Carearbeit zu Hause. Als Mann kotzen mich bestimmte patriarchale und "männliche" Phänomene ziemlich hart an.

When you're cycling long distance, and you're passing some place where you can fill up on water, and you're thinking about whether or not you actually need to: Yes, you need to. You always should fill up on water if you're lower than half and still have some way to go.
Now if only I could remember that one when I'm out on a ride, and don't want to stop at that gas station because I'm rolling right now...

EU sollte selbstverständlich sein, kleiner solidarischer Anbieter. Hetzner, OVH, etc kann ich selber finden.

I just moved to @opensuse #Tumbleweed on my desktop computers, and in the process I switched to @atuin for shell history. And, honestly... I don't know how I lived before. I had @ohmyzsh set up and thought that the normal history was good, but Atuin is just a whole new level. Sooo much easier to use, and I haven't even set up sync yet.
