That looks technically very challenging. I can host websites at home with a similar setup as yours, but with a reverse SSH tunnel. My VPS could see more details in my data, I guess, than yours can with your data.But why do you want your traffic that obscure, as if anyone at the VPS would care to sniff your packets? And why do you call the internet "evil"?

Booking a contractor service in rural Germany is like: Abandoned or domain-grabbed website from the 90s, dozens of AI-generated imposter website using the phonebook-data to turn up in search, then re-rout to questionable national services, only a mobile phonenumber as a real contact.
Reaching someone on building site with bad audio, yelling at you, not giving prices, not describing service details.

@ada Du hast da ein paar sehr gute Punkte gefunden, die mir auch schon hin und wieder aufgefallen sind. Ich bin da gerade dabei denk Backup-Storage-Teil etwas zu erleichtern, indem ich das kostenlos zur Verfügung stellen will. Das befindet sich gerade in einer Test-Phase und wird dann auf der #FSCK "öffentlich". Da werde ich auch einen Vortrag halten um das vorzustellen.

This mornings "lets do some quick updates and reboot while staying in the bed"-session got me out of the bed, because the server did not come online again.
Turns out: If you mount thin-provisioned #LVM logical volumes with #fstab you need thin-provisioning-tools, otherwise the #systemd unit fails during boot. And that package is not a dependency, only recommended on #Debian #Trixie and for some reason wasn't installed on my system.

So, heute was mit Holz ^w Metal ^w ähm Plastik gemacht! Das Fahrrad hat jetzt nen schönen Lenkeraufsatz drauf und da musste jetzt noch irgendwie ein Navi und Licht dran. Also gibts jetzt diese wunderbare Plastik-Rohr-Konstruktion!
Das hat sich ein bischen so angefühlt als würde man richtig was mit Metal machen, so mit irgendwie einspannen und langsam Material abtragen und so.

Das Schweriner Verwaltungsgericht hat die Klage von Demonstranten gegen Gebührenbescheide der Polizei verhandelt. Sie hatten vor etwa zwei Jahren mit einer Sitzblockade am Flughafen #Rostock-#Laage gegen eine #Sammelabschiebung von #Flüchtlingen demonstriert. Das Gericht urteilte nun, dass die Gebühren für das Wegtragen der sitzenden Demonstranten teilweise nicht rechtens sind. 😊

I bought hot & spicy #vegan #soyjerky by @[email protected] at #Kaufland.
They taste pretty much like #beefjerky, though they are a little softer and way sweeter.
