I have never liked ties, mostly because I feel like I am getting strangled by a buttoned up shirt. However, I’ve just learned about the day cravat (English) / ascot (American). It looks good and you wear them tucked in the shirt, with a button open. Are there any pointers to how to choose patterns and colours when pairing with a shirt and jacket. My tie experience is limited to black or white for graduations, funerals and weddings and the knitted tie part of my uniform in the army. #tie #cravat #ascot #newbie

Leaving the buddy heater on with just the pilot light puts enough heat out to keep the tent warm for the night without over heating. If I need a burst of heat I can crank it up but this helps.
