Yes, 2025 is the year of local elections in New Mexico and they are called 'non-partisan' in the statutes. (Ballots have candidate names, but no identifiers of party affiliation, unlike the even-numbered year elections.)
I don't consider them non-partisan because I have looked at voting data for local election years and compared them to voting trends in the state/federal (even-numbered) years.
In local elections, the turnout rate of the DTS (decline to state) bloc is horribly low. That means that the Republicans and Democratic party voters are the ones who cast ballots in these, ahem, 'non-partisan' elections.
And turnout rate for GOP/Dem voters is low, so it's only the most motivated, most partisan Dem's and Republicans that vote this year. These are voters that are most likely to show up in a red, white and blue Uncle Sam outfit at parades and conventions.
This year in New Mexico are 'non-partisan' elections, but they are, by voter makeup and behavior, hyper-partisan elections.
Prove me wrong.

L’imbécile plume de notre président a fait un contresens absurde en choisissant le vers d’un poème d’Aragon qui parle de 1919, quand médecin auxiliaire en Rhénanie occupée, il occupe son désœuvrement dans les bordels, puis s’en souvenant s’interroge sur le sens de la vie. Alors, voici ce poème dont Ferré a extrait la chanson « Est-ce ainsi que les hommes vivent ? ». C’est un beau texte, mais y piocher un vers, rêveur et ironique, pour évoquer le destin et l’engagement de Manouchian et de son groupe n’a aucun sens. Je trouve ça assez choquant, perso.
