The new revision of the #MiSCUSI SCSI card for #apple2 works! (Almost fully SMD SCSI card with active termination)
This one uses CMOS 53C80 controllers (easier to get in PLCC format than the NMOS ones, tested several zilog and an AMD one), replaces the 'LS133 with something cheaper to get and shuffles around some components.
I was even able to test the fuse protection 😬It's currently running some games on my Delta Apple2e clone using #BlueSCSI .

Mac Plus board booting 7.1 for the first time ever (since it never had enough RAM do it since this week) from a #BlueSCSI (thank you so much @onegeekarmy!) and running the things that matter! 😁

@arroz @_the_cloud @cdfinder @Cdespinosa @onegeekarmy You got a floppy to work!?🙌🥳 I just found that old dirty floppies may cause destruction of others - seems cleaning between each on might be a good policy.
#BlueSCSI is magical! It took me a while to understand the boot process. Finally found the preinstalled images. It's fun how I was able to plug into the back of a zip drive. I'm back in the world of system 6 before Multifinder😱 - I could run 7 but some files are too old to open there.

Finally got an old Mac SE booted with #BlueSCSI into 7.5.3 using a pre-installed image! ... With Extensions off🤨
It's “fun" to remember that SCSI is NOT plug & play.
Once in a while I get a floppy disk or a Zip disk to actually work. Some stuff is too old to work so I have to go back to 6.0.8 before Multifinder 😲😵

Big #BlueSCSI update yesterday with tons of improvements, but one of the nicest for end users is: You can now update BlueSCSI directly from your vintage computer! Use the latest BlueSCSI Toolbox beta + this release. FW updates from retro.bluescsi.com (no https) github.com/BlueSCSI/Blu...

WLAN driver: DaynaPORT 1.5
Robert Smith's driver uses the WLAN emulation available in the SD-based SCSI 'drives' ZuluSCSI and BlueSCSI to connect any Amiga with a SCSI host to the network. Changes in version 1.5:
- Open multiple times
- Timer crash on exit (CheckIO check fix)
- 16bit read/write calls
- Aggressive mode to reduce wait times -
GlobalTalk admins using non-standard Ethernet interfaces in System 7.1...
Can you please PM a screenshot of your Network and MacTCP settings (first screen only for MacTCP, examples attached) – 1 bit B/W preferred.
I'm wanting to make my AIR manual addendum, and GlobalTalk setup instructions and files more generic.
I'd also be interested in which Ethernet drivers were necessary to get your interface to work with AIR under System 7.1.
Lastly, I'm interested in having a chat with users of Snow, mini vMac, Basilisk II, and other non-QEMU emulators about GlobalTalk connection requirements and setup in System 7.1.
I will credit contributions, of course!
Thank you, and boosts appreciated!

@vkc shares some BlueSCSI love in this video - installing LinuxPPC on a 9600 (one of my favorite Macs!)
