What's in my bike bag? Lunch, water, and TWO alternators for a classic VW Beetle. I keep screwing up the installation. According to Cascade it's "Bike everywhere month", so I guess it's fitting.

I made this small frame for a small art print I got while in Spain. I added the "Museo Del Prado" (it's a magnet) in an attempt to be a little artistic. It sort of hides that I forgot to crop the picture 😂

Taking apart our (ev) lawn mower wasn't on my bingo card this morning. The good news is that it was just a faulty signal wire. The path for that wire is prone to failure, because it rubs underneath the handlebar when it folds. I made a cheap mod by removing a plastic shield and using a wire harness to help protect those wires. So I guess I improved performance by removing some weight? 🤣

Success! I was able to fix my soldering iron by replacing the heating element! To replace a heating element on a soldering iron, you first require another soldering iron. Desolder the old, then solder on the new. It was a little dicey for a minute there, but I managed it.
