After almost 7-8 years, it was a surprisingly easy transition back into . The power of the laptop meant I abandoned and am using Windows on a VM with as the host system.

  2. Here is the obligatory post about my transition to the : 5uie1.netlify.app/2022/06/05/2. I’ll post a detailed setup process soon with and ditching dual boot with this powerful laptop. Thanks for sharing about #shinobi, I wasn't aware of this. If you are thinking about site navigation, some #gopher clients, like #elpher has URL detection, and even URL in plain-text is highlited and accesible by browser key bindings.
I've never tried, but it's Elpher branch with HTTP support, so maybe it will fit your shinobi site.

  7. @Xanthinian My Paperwhite has been with me for a good 8-9 years now without a problem but is starting to show its age. The build quality has been really good and so has the performance until now. I’m on the lookout for an open hardware alternative once this is done as I don’t want to get locked in.

  8. @jinxd 👍🏾, I am planning to try out on another
drive. So maybe BTRFS for it then!

  9. @jinxd I've heard a lot about BTRFS, as I am coming back
Linux after a long time, I decided to stick to something I am familiar
such as EXT4. The last time I used Linux, ext3 was the staple. I might
give BTRFS a try once I am comfortable, and am also curious with the
manner in which and does this too.

  13. @szczezuja @tdarb In continuation, am I doing something wrong? I get an invalid branch when I try to follow the URL: alexschroeder.ch/cgit/elpher/l. itself is great for browsing space. It has got me thinking about mirroring my small site using envs.net! FTW!

  14. @szczezuja @tdarb Thank you for sharing this, does link navigation but not if it is in plain-text. I'll check out soon.
