@25kV Randklev bridge at #Dovrebanen is broken https://www.banenor.no/nyheter-og-aktuelt/nyheter/2023/store-skader-pa-brua-i-ringebu/ and will be for months, which means no electrified lines between southern part of Norway and the midle part.

(Actually, the #Rørosbanen is also closed https://www.banenor.no/nyheter-og-aktuelt/nyheter/2023/rorosbanen-stengt-etter-styrtregn/ so there is no rail at all for the moment)

#DB 🇩🇪 dual-voltage electric 181.001 is seen here at a railfan event at #Koblenz #Lützel in May 2006. This loco was built in 1966 and was able to operate under 15kV AC 16 2/3 Hz catenary (in #Germany 🇩🇪) and 25kV 50 Hz AC (parts of #France 🇫🇷 and #Luxembourg 🇱🇺), thus avoiding a locomotive change at the border.

#Bertrix 🇧🇪: two #SNCB #NMBS Class #AR41 railcars are seen here, sitting on tracks 1 and 2. I took this picture in April 2002, before this section of the “Athus-Meuse” line across the #Ardennes, line number 165, was electrified at 25kV AC.

Jag har bott i en 5a på 110kvm byggd 1960-tal, totalt ytrenoverad 2019 innan vi flyttade in, hyra 12400kr/mån. inkl. 25kvm uteplats.

On #EuropeDay 🇪🇺 #9May a picture, taken in August 2002, of a very #European locomotive: a dual voltage #DB 🇩🇪 Class 181.2 seen at #Luxembourg 🇱🇺, with an international service composed of #DB #InterRegio cars. These locos were also equipped to work under 25kV AC in #France 🇫🇷.

Related to Norske tog giving away to Ukraine the class 92 diesel units that's supposedly no longer used.

I suspect that when #SJ needs more or less all the hybrid Flirt units (class 76) on the #Røros line with the #Dovre line closed, the class 92 are used a bit more than originally planned for the line north of Trondheim to #Steinkjer/ #Stjørdal.
